Day 17 – Trust, Integrity, and Divine Sovereignty

👆 Genesis 43–44
👆 Psalm 24
👆 Galatians 1

God’s work often unfolds through small, ordinary choices. In Genesis chapters 43 and 44, Joseph watches as his brothers are tested. Their responses reveal real change and growing responsibility. Psalm 24 shifts our focus upward. Everything belongs to the Lord, and the way we live before Him matters. In Galatians chapter 1, Paul speaks with clarity and firmness. God’s truth is not something to adjust for comfort or approval. Together, these readings invite us to live honestly under God’s rule.

When we listen to these readings side by side, a clear truth emerges. God is at work through our choices, and He calls us to live with integrity and loyalty to His truth.

So what might faithfulness look like today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.

First, think about one recent decision you made. Ask God to show you the true motive behind it, without rushing to justify yourself.

Second, pray this simple prayer: “Lord, I place this area of my life in Your hands.” Then take one small step that reflects that trust.

Third, in one relationship today, choose honesty and a desire to serve rather than the need to gain or protect yourself.

As you go into the rest of this day, hold on to this. Living under God’s authority brings freedom, clarity, and strength to choose what is right.

Thank you for joining me today. Walk with integrity and trust the God who is firmly in control. Until tomorrow, may faithfulness guide your decisions.
