Day 24 – Deliverance and Grace
👆 Exodus 10–12
👆 Ephesians 2
Freedom rarely comes cheaply. In Exodus chapters 10 to 12, Israel is brought out of slavery through the Passover. Protection and rescue come through the blood of a lamb, and this moment shapes Israel’s identity for generations. In Ephesians chapter 2, Paul speaks of another rescue. Freedom from sin and death comes not through effort, but through grace in Christ. These readings point to the same truth. Deliverance is God’s work, given as a gift, not earned.
When we listen to these readings side by side, a clear truth emerges. God’s deliverance is an act of grace that brings real freedom and invites a faithful response.
So what might faithfulness look like today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.
First, write down one way God has brought freedom or healing into your life in the past. Let memory strengthen gratitude.
Second, thank God for saving you by grace. Pause and consider one way this changes how you live or respond today.
Third, take one small step toward freedom from a habit, fear, or pattern that still holds you back.
As today unfolds, keep this in mind. Freedom is not something you achieve. It is something you receive and learn to live out with gratitude.
Thank you for joining me today. Receive God’s grace again and choose to live in the freedom He provides. Until tomorrow, may thankfulness shape the way you walk.
