Day 25 – Divine Deliverance and Unity
👆 Exodus 13–15
👆 Psalm 114
👆 Ephesians 3
When God brings deliverance, the result is more than escape. In Exodus chapters 13 to 15, God leads Israel through the Red Sea. Fear gives way to praise as the people recognize what only God could have done. Psalm 114 looks back on that moment with awe, showing even creation responding to God’s power. In Ephesians chapter 3, Paul widens the picture. God’s saving work is meant to unite people and strengthen them together through His Spirit. These passages show that deliverance leads not only to freedom, but to shared purpose.
Across these readings, one message rises to the surface. God’s power delivers His people, and His purpose brings them together as one in Christ.
How do we live this out in simple ways? Here are three practical steps for today.
First, write down one past situation where God carried you through something you could not handle on your own.
Second, spend a few minutes thanking God in worship. Focus on His strength and faithfulness rather than your own effort.
Third, reach out to one person who is different from you. Take a small step toward connection, understanding, or kindness.
As you carry this into your day, remember this. God’s deliverance is meant to shape how we live together, not just what we escape from.
Thank you for joining me today. Celebrate what God has done and stay open to the unity He is forming among His people. Until tomorrow, may gratitude and shared purpose guide your steps.
