Day 26 – Provision and Unity
👆 Exodus 16–18
👆 Ephesians 4
God cares about everyday needs and lasting growth. In Exodus chapters 16 to 18, He provides food and water one day at a time and offers wise guidance along the way. Dependence is learned slowly. Even Moses discovers that leadership is not meant to be carried alone. In Ephesians chapter 4, Paul turns to the life of the church. God supplies every gift needed for unity and maturity. These readings show a God who provides not only for survival, but for shared growth.
When we listen to these readings side by side, a clear truth emerges. God faithfully provides for our needs and calls us to grow together in unity and maturity.
So what might faithfulness look like today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.
First, trust God with one daily need today. Name it in prayer and choose not to worry about it for the rest of the day.
Second, use one ability, gift, or word of encouragement to help strengthen someone else, even in a small way.
Third, be open to advice or help from someone you might normally overlook. Receive it with humility.
As today unfolds, keep this in mind. God’s provision meets you where you are, and His grace often comes through others.
Thank you for joining me today. Depend on God daily and take part in building others up. Until tomorrow, may shared trust and steady growth mark your steps.
