Day 33 – God’s Glory and Sonship

God’s work reaches a holy moment when His presence fills what His people have prepared. In Exodus chapters 38 to 40, the tabernacle is completed just as the Lord commanded. Nothing is casual. Nothing is altered. When the work is finished, God’s glory settles among them. His nearness confirms His pleasure. In Hebrews chapter 1, our eyes are lifted even higher. God has spoken fully and finally through His Son. Jesus shares in God’s glory and stands above every other authority. These readings reveal a God who desires to dwell with His people and to make Himself known.

As we hold these readings together, one truth becomes clear. God reveals His glory by dwelling with His people and speaking through His Son.

So how do we respond today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.

First, thank God for one way He has made His presence clear in your life, whether through guidance, comfort, or conviction.

Second, read a short passage from the Gospels today. Pay attention to what Jesus reveals about God’s character and heart.

Third, adjust one daily habit to create space for listening rather than rushing. Even a few quiet minutes can open room for attentiveness.

As you carry this into your day, remember this. God is not silent or distant. He has drawn near, and He continues to speak through His Son.
