Day 34 – Approaching God with Confidence

Leviticus 1–3
Psalm 27
Hebrews 2

Drawing near to God has always required trust. In Leviticus chapters 1 to 3, offerings are given with care and intention. Devotion, gratitude, and peace shape the way God’s people approach Him. Psalm 27 speaks with bold confidence. Fear may be present, but it does not have the final word. The psalmist longs to dwell in God’s presence. In Hebrews chapter 2, the picture becomes clearer. Jesus shares in our humanity, overcomes death, and opens the way for us to come to God without fear. These readings show that access to God is not earned. It is given.

Taken together, these passages show us something important. God welcomes us into His presence through sacrifice fulfilled in Christ.

How do we live this out in simple ways? Here are three practical steps for today.

First, thank God for the freedom you have to come to Him without fear or hesitation.

Second, bring one fear or concern honestly into His presence today. Speak it plainly and leave it there.

Third, choose one act of gratitude or devotion as a response to God’s kindness toward you.

As today unfolds, keep this in mind. You are not approaching a distant God. Through Christ, you are invited to come near with confidence.

Thank you for joining me today. Draw close to God and rest in the access He has given you. Until tomorrow, may courage and trust guide your steps.
