Day 60 – Faithful Living and Prayer

Deuteronomy 23–26
Luke 11

Faith is meant to shape ordinary life. In Deuteronomy chapters 23 to 26, God gives instructions about holiness, generosity, and remembering His saving acts. The people are called to recall how God rescued and sustained them, and to respond with grateful obedience. Worship and daily conduct belong together. In Luke chapter 11, Jesus teaches His disciples how to pray. His words point to dependence on the Father, persistence in seeking Him, and confidence in His goodness. These passages show that obedience grows stronger when the heart remains rooted in prayer.

Across these readings, one message rises to the surface. Faithful obedience grows out of grateful hearts and persistent prayer.

How do we live this out in simple ways? Here are three practical steps for today.

First, thank God for one blessing you often take for granted.

Second, obey God in one small and practical way as an expression of gratitude.

Third, set aside intentional time today to pray honestly and persistently.

As you carry this into your day, remember this. Gratitude strengthens obedience, and prayer keeps the heart aligned with God’s purposes.

Thank you for joining me today. Walk faithfully and stay close to God in prayer. Until tomorrow, may trust and gratitude guide your day.
