Day 65 – Faithfulness and Stewardship
Joshua 9–13
Luke 16
Walking with God requires both wisdom and consistency. In Joshua chapters 9 to 13, Israel moves forward in receiving the land God promised. Yet there is also a moment of failure. They are deceived because they do not seek God’s guidance. Even so, God’s purposes continue, and the people keep moving forward. These chapters remind us that mistakes do not cancel God’s faithfulness, but they do reveal the need for discernment. In Luke chapter 16, Jesus teaches about stewardship. He shows that faithfulness in small things reflects the true condition of the heart.
When we listen to these readings side by side, a clear truth emerges. Faithful living requires discernment and responsible stewardship of what God provides.
Let’s carry this into daily life. Here are three simple steps you can take today.
First, pause before one decision and ask God for discernment instead of rushing ahead.
Second, be faithful with one responsibility that has already been entrusted to you.
Third, use one resource—your time, your money, or your influence—in a way that honors God.
As you carry this into your day, remember this. Faithfulness is built in small, consistent choices shaped by trust in God.
Thank you for joining me today. Seek God’s wisdom, stay steady in what He has given you, and walk with integrity. Until tomorrow, may faithfulness guide your actions.
