Day 66 – Faithful Perseverance and Gratitude
Joshua 14–17
Luke 17
Faith often grows slowly, over many years. In Joshua chapters 14 to 17, Caleb stands as an example of steady trust. Decades have passed since the promise was first given, yet he still believes and steps forward to claim it. Others also continue the work, even though challenges remain. Progress is not always complete, but God calls His people to keep moving. In Luke chapter 17, Jesus teaches about faith, humility, and gratitude. When ten are healed, only one returns to give thanks. The response reveals the heart.
Taken together, these passages show us something important. Enduring faith leads to grateful hearts and confident obedience.
So how do we respond today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by these readings.
First, thank God for one promise He has been faithful to keep over time.
Second, persist in one area where growth feels slow but obedience is still required.
Third, express gratitude intentionally for one blessing you might normally overlook.
As you continue through your day, remember this. Perseverance is strengthened when gratitude keeps reminding you of God’s faithfulness.
Thank you for joining me today. Keep trusting, keep moving forward, and let gratitude shape your perspective. Until tomorrow, may steady faith carry you through.
