Day 111 – Trust, Wisdom, and Salvation

Proverbs 3–5
Romans 10

Trust and response stand at the center of today’s readings. Proverbs 3 to 5 call us to a life shaped by wisdom—trusting the Lord wholeheartedly, walking in humility, and resisting paths that seem attractive but ultimately lead away from life. Wisdom is not merely something we know. It is something we practice through daily choices, guarded desires, and faithful obedience. Romans 10 brings this call to its clearest expression by declaring that salvation comes through faith in Christ. We believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths. Together, these passages remind us that faith is not merely believed. It is lived, spoken, and expressed through trust in God’s way rather than our own understanding.

Taken together, these passages show us something important. True wisdom is lived out through trust in God, leading to salvation and transformed daily choices.

So how do we respond today? Here are three simple and practical steps shaped by today’s readings.

First, identify one area where you are leaning on your own understanding instead of trusting God.

Second, speak your faith today. Acknowledge your trust in Christ through prayer or in a conversation with someone else.

Third, choose one wise action that guards your heart, even if it requires restraint or sacrifice.

As today unfolds, keep this in mind. Trust in God is more than agreement with truth. It is a daily decision to follow His way, even when your own path seems easier.

Thank you for joining me today. Trust God with both your heart and your choices. Until tomorrow, may His wisdom guide your steps and His salvation fill you with peace.
